Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) and Google Canada

Grants of $2,500, grants of $10,000, and in-kind support to Canada Indigenous-owned businesses for business development activities in the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Eligible businesses are at least 51% owned and controlled by Indigenous persons. In addition to funds, grantees also receive membership in the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.
Google Canada is committed to supporting Indigenous-owned businesses across Canada. This program helps to further empower Indigenous businesses by awarding a total of 75 recipients with grants and CCAB membership. Together, CCAB and Google Canada provide support to help Indigenous-owned businesses thrive as many have experienced challenges arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The grant is administered through CCAB’s Tools and Financing for Aboriginal Business (TFAB) program to enhance Aboriginal entrepreneurship through providing access to digital development and growth opportunities. This program supports Google Canada’s commitment to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.
Indigenous-owned businesses across Canada are invited to apply to one of two grant levels.
